Background and History
Silvercross have a long heritage in pram design and manufacture. Started in 1877 by William Wilson on Silver Cross Street near Leeds the first products he developed were postal carts and prams with his unique suspension and reversible folding hood. Through the years Silvercross has been linked to the pram of choice for the Royal Family, with the Queen choosing a Silver Cross for Prince Charles.

In the 80s Silver Cross added a lightweight pushchair to the range, and the range has grown ever since. Silver Cross now sell worldwide and their modern range includes wheeled goods, nursery equipment and clothing. Their products are award winning and offer the highest levels of quality.

When you buy a Silver Cross pram, pushchair, highchair, car seat or travel cot, you can be sure that the item has been researched, designed, manufactured and tested to the highest possible standards. With over 130 years of experience, Silver Cross is the brand you can trust.

Silver Cross have a range of seven prams, pushchairs and strollers, that act as an ideal safe and secure second home for your child. These include Sleepover, Linear Freeway, 3-D pram system, Dazzle, Pop, Pop Duo and the Fizz. This is in addition to their heritage range of prams.
The Ventura Car Seat is designed in conjunction with top road safety experts, and are tested and approved to European Safety Standards.

Warranty and Customer Service

All Silver Cross Lifestyle products (such as the 3D, Dazzle and Sovereign) come supplied with a standard one-year warranty to protect against any failures that may occur within the first year of the product's active life. In addition to this outstanding service, you can extend your cover when you register your warranty online: Your one year guarantee will be upgraded to a 2 year warranty!

Silver Cross also has a special service department whose job it is to ensure that any products sent for repair via from Nursery World are fixed rapidly and sent back to us as soon as possible, in order to create the minimum disruption.

Silver Cross Heritage prams such as the Balmoral, Kensington and Oberon Dolls Pram come complete with a lifetime guarantee.

Silver Cross also has a dedicated customer services team, based in North Yorkshire. It is their job to ensure that each and every customer enquiry received gets dealt with quickly and with the minimum of fuss.
