Bugaboo

History

Bugaboo is quickly becoming one of the most well known prams on the market - with their individual and precise design. Max Barenburg is the man behind it all and at the outset they wanted to design a pram that was functional and fashionable.

In 1999 that happened when they brought out the Frog and named it after its frog like suspension. Whilst trying to name their new product the pair decided to look through the dictionary for inspiration. Just above buggy they came across ‘Bugaboo’. After reading its meaning: ‘Endless, without borders, pushing the limits,’ they decided this was meant to be the name for their product.

Bugaboo’s aim is to increase freedom of movement and make peoples mobility flexible, simple and light with functional and innovative products. The Bugaboo has its own unique personality: it’s smart, exciting and no nonsense.

Bugaboo have a range of three prams on the market at this time: Gecko, Cameleon and the new and fashionable Bee.

The Bugaboo Cameleon
The Cameleon is the definition of mobile comfort. From infant to toddler, to the city, the beach and the woods, the Cameleon lets you take the road less travelled. This pram can adapt to any taste, style or mood. Mix and match colours and fabrics to stand.

Their unique 3 in 1 design adapts to car seats and has a reversible carrycot and seat unit.

The Bugaboo Bee
The Bee is a compact, nimble, one-piece foldable pushchair for parents who live life on the fly. With a minimal one-piece design that folds into a snug little bundle with an effortless motion it’s a great product for those who like no clutter.
The Bee has easy one-handed steering, foam filled tyres, suspension and unique swivel wheels that make navigating simple and graceful.

Customer Service and Warranty
Bugaboo have a ‘frequently asked questions’ section for each product on their website, and the ability to send a more specific query via email.

In addition they offer a two year warranty with each pram. This can be redeemed by post or even on their website.
